BE INFORMED - AND PROTECT YOURSELF

As a customer, if you are not informed about all of your options, you will end up giving the dealer more money than someone who is better informed. The person who is informed and drives a hard bargain will spend less than you will.

There are some dealers out there who are intentionally unscrupulous and have absolutely no compassion whatsoever when it comes to customers and their money. And then, there are some dealers who are just trying to make a good living. But if you give them just a hint that you are an uninformed consumer, they will do all they can to make sure they make the most money. And don't fool yourself. Dealers know a lot of tricks to make a ton of money.

MONEY IS WHAT DEALERS WANT THE MOST

The important thing to understand right off the bat is that car dealers are in the business to sell. They are not your friends, and surprise, surprise, they do not have your best interest at heart. A dealer wants to make the most money that he can.

THE DEALER MUMBO-JUMBO

You may be asking yourself why is car complicated and makes you feel intimidated. Why can't it be as simple as buying oranges or bananas. You see what you like. Pay a fair price for the items you like, and you go on your way. But buying a car is very different from this standard retail procedure. There are many reasons for this difference
